The following databases can be accessed remotely:

Facts on File (enter Library card number to log in) -- an excellent resource for grades 4-12 in biography, science, geography, and history (includes maps and images)

Magazines OnLine * (enter Library card number to log in) -- EBSCOhost indexes 3,000 magazines, 1,700 of which are fulltext.  It also includes health, business and children's databases and in-depth records for selected businesses.

Informe! * (Revistas en Espanol) cuenta con 135,122 articulos

Contemporary Authors -- complete biographical and bibliographical information and references on more than 120,000 U.S. and international authors.  To access, click here, then click "Custom Search," then "Clear Checkmarks," scroll down to Literature, check Contemporary Authors, then enter your search at the top of the page.

Literary Reference Center (enter Library card number to log in) -- a broad spectrum of information on thousands of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes.  Literary Reference Center combines information from major respected reference works including Magill's, books, literary journals as well as original content from EBSCO Publishing.

NoveList (enter Library card number to log in) -- your guide to fiction; use a favorite author or title to locate other authors and titles of interest, or look for a book by describing its plot or characters

Custom Newspapers * from Infotrac -- full text of the following:

New York Times -- rolling 365 days
Newark Star Ledger -- Feb 2001 to date
Bergen Record -- 1996 to date
Los Angeles Times -- 1996 to date
Times of London -- 1997 to date

ReferenceUSA -- contact information and profile data for U.S. and Canadian businesses; residential listings for both countries; and U.S. health-care (physicians and dentists) listings.
